Community

You are not alone
in the mending.

Kintsugi Stones began with people who have lived through trauma and found their way, slowly, to something like repair. This page is for that community — survivors, the people who love them, and anyone who believes broken things are worth mending.

Share your story

Only if you want to.

If you’d like to share what your birthstone or your kintsugi piece means to you, we’d be honoured to hear it.

Stories may be shared on our website or social pages — only with your written permission, and only in the way you choose (first name only, initials, or anonymously). You can ask us to remove a story at any time.

You never need to describe what happened to you. A few lines about hope, recovery or the person you’re wearing your stone for is more than enough.

Send us your story →

Please don’t send anything you’d feel unsafe seeing in print. If sharing brings up difficult feelings, please reach out to Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Our safe-community guidelines

To keep our pages kind and safe for everyone.

  • Be gentle. Lead with kindness. Everyone’s recovery looks different.
  • No graphic detail. Please avoid describing violence or harm in detail; it can hurt others reading.
  • Respect privacy. Never share anyone else’s story, name or photo without their permission.
  • No advice in place of professional help. Share what helped you, but please don’t diagnose or tell others what they must do.
  • No hate, harassment or shaming. Comments like this will be removed and repeat accounts blocked.
  • No selling or spam.
  • If someone is in danger, call 000. We’re not able to monitor messages around the clock and can’t provide crisis support.

We moderate comments and may remove anything that doesn’t meet these guidelines.
